In August 2008 our team developed a great innovation that makes a site with a flash animation on it more “friendly” than never before to computers without the flash plug-in required.

The innovation consists to a specially designed feature that hides completely everything from that flash file when the computer accessing it doesn’t have the flash plug-in, and on the position of the flash animation we can place another image, or a GIF file that would make your site “friendly” to all your visitors.

The following example will give you a complete idea of what we have developed in fact.

The problem becomes complicated when a user without the Flash program clicks

on the link that says:

“Please upgrade your Flash plug-in”.

Then a messages comes on the screen warning that you are about to download and install an executable file. Executable files may contain viruses and other malicious code that could harm your computer. Use caution when opening this file. Are you sure you want to launch this program? the computer will ask...

And, unless the visitor knows what file is this, who is the supplier and whether this program is safe to install, he WILL NOT take any risk to download this programme.

The result? That visitor’s computer will remain without the program, or without the updates it requires.

And your business will loose profit.

That’s why most businesses ask their web designers to put a GIF animated file rather than a flash one, so that their site becomes friendly to every single visit they will have. The GIF, is not that useful as it supports only up to 256 colours instead of millions of colours supported by a Flash animated file, it runs with frames only, and it shows in fact a “poorer web site”, but the businesses who do not want to loose any customer, prefer a GIF file rather than a Flash one with us, this does not happen!
